Functions:- The I-TAA TESOL Board has as its prime functions:-

a) Regulating the standards of TESOL Certificate providers globally
b) Providing TESOL applicants with a list of accredited and reputable TESOL providers
c) Setting standardized guidelines for TESOL providers
d) Raising awareness of applicants to the Accredited courses
e) Providing governments and other authorities with a credible list of TESOL providers
f) Working with Organizations and government bodies to promote TESOL
g) To assist members registered and accredited with the ITAA
h) To work closely with global academic TESOL profession

Functions:- The I-TAA TESOL Executive has as its prime functions:-
I. Overview of all Board functions
j. Independent auditing power of I-TAA
k. Promote the ideals of I-TAA to governments and Education authorities
l. Maintain checks and balances of all I-TAA functions
