Functions:-The Executive has as its prime functions:-

a. Overview of all Board functions
b. Independent auditing power of I-TAA
c. Liaise with Ministers of Education in counties providing TESOL
d. Promote the ideals of I-TAA to governments and Education authorities
e. Maintain checks and balances of all I-TAA functions
f. Such as other duties as is consistent with the aims of the I-TAA
g. Report to the I-TAA President
h) Draft submissions for governments and Educational authorities on TESOL standards
i) Convene annually

Applications to join the executive:-

Interested persons who wish to join the Executive and who meet the following criteria are encouraged to contact the President of the I-TAA.

i) An academic in the field of Linguistics, Second Language Acquisition, TESOL
ii) Able to attend annual meeting in April of each year
iii) Has no interest in any TESOL course where conflict of interest may arise
