The International TESOL Accrediting Authority is a legal body comprised of a registered company with directors selected from world leading academics. Its authority is to accredit TESOL certificate programs.

 

About the International TESOL Accrediting Authority Guidelines:-


Applicants for I-TAA Accreditation shall:-

1) Supply the name, address, business details of the Provider -where on-line, full details of the CEO running the program

2) Provide I-TAA with a preliminary outline of their TESOL Course stating:-
a) All and any information relevant to the course
b) Type of Course - Certificate - Diploma - Degree - Masters - PhD
c) Course information - length - curriculum
d) Entry requirements to be satisfied
e) Location
f) Attendance requirements (physical - on-line, etc)
g) Contract between Provider and Applicant
h) Nature of provider & details (university-business-on-line business)

3) Inspection
a) Inspection will be either carried by way of physical attendance upon the
provider or where on-line, in depth inquiries and material examination
b)Inspection will follow with in 2 weeks of successful preliminary application review

4) Assessment | The Assessor will provide the President & Executive of the following:-
i. Recommended for I-TAA Seal
ii) Recommended for further review after items of concern attended to
iii) Not recommended.

a) Detailed assessment evaluation
b) All appropriate course information
c) Recommendation For Acceptance or Further Review or Not Recommended
d) The Executive will authorize the President to award Certificate of I-TAA to successful evaluees
e) Where the Assessor recommends "further evaluation", the Executive of
the I-TAA will review the Assessment and provide the Course Provider full details of the evaluation and recommendations for review within 7 days of Assessment
f) Applications requiring reevaluation may apply upon rectification or attendance to I-TAA assessment review. A second application shall not be paid
